December 20

Burglary in a pizzeria: At approximately 3:30 a.m., near block 32900 of 1st Avenue South, Federal Way agents responded to Pizza Pizzazz’s location for an ongoing burglary.

Burglaries in storage boxes: At approximately 7:58 a.m. near the 34700 block of Pacific Highway South, several storage unit owners reported that their units had been broken into overnight. The officer who responded discovered that seven units had been broken into and one unit had been damaged by the suspect (s) attempting to enter. No video footage or suspicious information available.

December 21

Man assaulted by a roommate: At approximately 5:13 a.m., near the 1800 block of 330th Street South, officers responded to reports of a man being assaulted. The man said his roommate approached him and was trying to kill him. The roommate was arrested and jailed for fourth degree assault and domestic violence.

Bank robbery: At approximately 1:24 p.m. near the 1400 block of South 312th Street, a bank reported that they had just been robbed. The suspect showed a note and suggested he had a gun, although no guns were seen. Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspect.

Apartment broken into: At approximately 4:56 p.m. near the 27900 block of Pacific Highway South, police responded to an apartment complex where a unit had been broken into. The suspect was confronted and a fight broke out. Police arrested the suspect.

23 december

Man hit by a vehicle: At approximately 7:18 a.m. near the 31200 block of Pacific Highway South, a man may have been struck by a vehicle and shot dead near H Mart.

The neighbor SHAG points the gun: At around 10:29 a.m. near the 1300 block of SW 328th Court, a woman reported that she was driving home to her SHAG apartment when she saw her upstairs neighbor standing outside the building, pointing a camouflage colored long gun on it. She went inside and immediately called the police.

A man encroaches on Wild Waves: At approximately 1:50 p.m., near the 36200 block of Enchanted Parkway South, a man scaled the fence of the Wild Waves Theme & Water Park, entering a closed and secure park. A park security guard saw the man inside wearing a large red metal crowbar. The man was apprehended as he attempted to climb the fence and flee the park. The man was held in SCORE prison under an arrest warrant and cited for trespassing.

December 24

Stolen car: At approximately 7:15 am, near the 33200 block of Military Road South, a man received a vehicle from his stepfather and parked the vehicle in front of their apartment the night before. His wife went to get some last minute Christmas items and noticed the car had been stolen. No video footage or suspicious information available.

Road rage: At approximately 12:16 p.m. near the 800 block of 312nd Street South, a suspect pointed a gun at another driver during a road rage incident. The suspect returned to the scene and was taken into custody without incident.

Stolen jewelry: At approximately 2:47 p.m. near the 1928 block of South Commons, an unknown man used a hammer to smash a glass display case and stole an unknown amount of jewelry. The store owner refused to take legal action at that time.

DUI driver causes collisionAt approximately 5:03 p.m. near the 32300 block of SW 320th Street, a driver responsible for causing a collision of four cars was arrested and booked for impaired driving. Drivers of the other vehicles reported injuries as a result of the collision.

December 25th

Boyfriend assaults his girlfriend: At approximately 9:54 p.m. near the 1300 block of SW Campus Drive, a woman was followed to her apartment by her boyfriend. He then forced entry by smashing a sliding glass door. Once inside, he assaulted and strangled her. He also broke several items from his property. The boyfriend fled, but was located by police and taken into custody.

December 26:

Person hit, injured by an SUV driver: At approximately 11:18 a.m. near the intersection of 30th Avenue South and 288th Street South, a pedestrian was struck and run over by an unknown SUV. The driver fled after hitting the person. The pedestrian suffered rib and pelvic fractures and was transported to Harborview Medical Center. The SUV and the driver have not been located.

December 27

Armed robbery: At approximately 1:02 a.m. near the 31000 block of Pacific Highway South, officers responded to reports of shoplifting and found two men matching the suspicious descriptions. One of the men was in possession of a gun but was not allowed to have a gun because he is a convicted felon. The gunman was jailed and the other suspect received a summons.

December 28

Trampoline problem: At approximately 1:47 p.m. near the 35,000 block of Enchanted Parkway South, the owner of a trampoline business reported that a woman had visited the business in September, lied to employees and said she was part of the ‘a private party. She then used the facility for free (worth $ 15) and was injured in the process. The woman is now taking legal action against the company.
