Mack launches a comprehensive maintenance program at TMC.
Mack Trucks introduces the Premium Service Agreement, a new comprehensive maintenance program designed to simplify maintenance management and increase uptime. The package was officially presented on Tuesday at the ATA Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) fall meeting in Cleveland.
The Premium Service Agreement program is available to Mack Anthem, Pinnacle, Granite, TerraPro and LR customers.
Stu Russoli, Road Product Manager, Mack, explains that the new optional program is available for purchases of new trucks and new trucks in service that have not reached their first interval. Russoli says the program was developed collaboratively, with input from customers and dealer service partners.
Service agreement replaces existing Mack maintenance plans and streamlines maintenance management with a single solution that lightens the burden of routine maintenance and preventative maintenance from the truck owner and transfers it to the Mack dealer network . Russoli says customers can tailor their plans to the length of their ownership cycle and expected duty cycle.
The Mack Premium Service Agreement includes a range of services to promote proper vehicle maintenance and peak performance, including:
- All after-treatment maintenance and cleaning of the diesel particulate filter (DPF);
- All scheduled transmissions and scheduled axle maintenance;
- All scheduled engine maintenance and valve adjustments;
- All scheduled chassis maintenance;
- Alternator cover; and
- Regular 74-point inspection and oil analysis.
Customers can also add optional services to further tailor their plan to the specific needs of their operations and service cycles.
Under the new deal, Mack says flexible payment options will allow customers to pay on a recurring monthly basis or in advance when purchasing their truck, billed directly or through their dealership. Offered through Mack Financial Services (MFS), bundling the Mack Premium service contract with truck-based payment will give customers the ability to pay the contract interest-free and over time. The partnership with MFS also provides customers with a dedicated financial services partner to provide support throughout the life of the vehicle and service contract, the company adds.
