NEXT Insurance Appoints Insurance Veteran Jennifer Lawrence as First General Counsel – InsuranceNewsNet

In this role, Lawrence will leverage his unique experience in both the public and private sectors to help NEXT effectively manage risk as the business continues to grow and expand to cover more businesses.

Lawrence joins NEXT after four years as General Counsel and General Counsel at Noblr, a personal auto insurance company recently acquired by USAA, where she built and oversaw the company’s legal, regulatory and government affairs teams. Prior to Noblr, she was General Counsel for the PURE Group of Insurance Companiesand also OneBeacon Insurance Groupwhere she helped guide the company through its IPO.

Lawrence is an active supporter of women in leadership. She is a founding member of the Boston leader’s chapter, a membership organization focused on connecting and supporting women leaders. Lawrence has served on several boards in the financial services industry, including property and casualty insurance companies. Jennifer has a BA from Colombia University and holds a JD of Boston University School of Law and an MBA from Boston University School of Management.

She is the latest woman to join NEXT’s growing leadership team.
