One person died after a head-on collision in Greenville County, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway. The two-car crash happened on SC-14, north of Simpsonville, Ridgeway said. a Volkswagen was traveling north on SC-14 when they crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Ford pickup. The driver of the Volkswagen was not wearing a seatbelt, was trapped and died at the scene, Ridgeway said. Ridgeway said the driver of the Ford pickup was sent to hospital with injuries. Ridgeway said a driver of a Volkswagen was traveling north on SC-14 when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Ford pickup.

The driver of the Volkswagen was not wearing a seatbelt, was trapped and died at the scene, Ridgeway said.

Ridgeway said the driver of the Ford pickup was sent to hospital with injuries.
