ST. GEORGE- Late Tuesday evening, a two-vehicle collision on Sunset Boulevard and Dixie Drive resulted in an adult woman being transported to hospital.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., a white Ford pickup truck collided with a white four-door passenger car at the intersection.
By 9:50 p.m. both vehicles had been towed away and traffic had resumed, but with one lane closed for the Gold Cross ambulance.
St. George police officers at the scene did not comment. Jaime Mata, who witnessed the crash, told St. George News he saw the pickup turn on the light.
“The guy in the truck left when it was green for the woman in the car,” Mata said.
The male driver of the van was observed by St. George News to be unharmed and received a citation from officers at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was seen with a neck brace put on by first responders and put on a stretcher in the ambulance, which left the scene at 10:10 p.m.
No further information on the cause of the collision, the charge on the citation, the condition of the injured woman was available.
