Snohomish County plans community outreach in July for 2024 comprehensive plan update

Snohomish County is seeking public input for the future of the county during the month of July through in-person public outreach in the community. County staff will be at libraries, parks, farmers’ markets and other locations around the county to raise awareness of the comprehensive plan and answer questions from the public. Feedback received by the County will guide the 2024 Comprehensive Plan Update, which affects the growth, preservation and development of Snohomish County.

The Comprehensive Plan is a document that guides Snohomish County’s decisions on a wide range of topics and services over a 20-year period. The plan serves as a blueprint for the county’s development. It will impact neighborhoods, businesses, traffic, the environment and yourself. The plan is also intended to reflect the vision and priorities of the communities and residents of Snohomish County, while meeting the requirements of state and federal laws.
