VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. (June 17, 2022) – Thursday morning, a collision with a diesel truck on Highway 33 injured two people.

The crash happened June 9 on Highway 33 near Casitas Springs, according to initial reports.

Additionally, California Highway Patrol and Ventura County Fire crews responded to the crash and found two injured people at the scene.

Paramedics treated one person upon arrival and released him shortly after. Meanwhile, another was transported to Ventura County Medical Center for further treatment.

Additionally, the accident caused 30 gallons of diesel fuel to spill onto the roadway, but it was later contained and cleaned up from the area.
